KITESURF PRIVATE LESSONS – LEARN TO KITE SAFELY
Personalized lessons 100% adapted to your pace and level.
On average, students become independent after 10–15 hours of consistent training (without long breaks between sessions).

 

Rates

$1,500 MXN per hour (tax included)
⏱️ Minimum session time: 2 hours

 

Discount Packages:

• 3 hours → $4,000 MXN

• 6 hours → $8,000 MXN

• 10 hours → $13,200 MXN​

What’s Included

• Full use of kitesurfing equipment: kite, control bar, board, harness, helmet and flotation vest.

• Private class with an International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) certified instructor.

• IKO certification for the level you achieve (for more details about the technical course content, check the “Kitesurf” section in the menu).

• Access to the Instituto Tropical Beach Club for you and one guest during your sessions.​

 

Schedule

Classes available every day from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The best wind conditions for kitesurfing are usually in the afternoon, starting around 12:00 p.m.

The last available time slot is from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

 

*You can come without a reservation, but we recommend booking in advance to guarantee instructor availability and make the most of the best wind conditions.

Special Options

Supervision – $500 MXN/hour
Continuous monitoring by an instructor in case assistance or rescue is needed (for example, if you can’t relaunch the kite or drift too far from your board).
Does not include instruction or assisted navigation (the supervising instructor will not ride the kite upwind for the client).

Assistance – $600 MXN/hour
Includes everything in “Supervision” plus upwind recovery support — the instructor will help bring the kite back upwind each time the client drifts downwind.
Does not include instruction.

Kids lessons:

Kitesurf lessons for children under 12 are taught following the special “Teach to Children” methodology by the International Kiteboarding Organization (I.K.O.).
